PAPAIOANNOU gastronomic journey is based on the core values that Giorgos Papaioannou shares; his dedication to authenticity has established his first flagship restaurant as one of the top destinations for seafood in Athens. Giorgos learned the secrets of Sea Cuisine from his father back in the early 90’s, when their family-owned fish restaurant was initially located in the backstreets of Piraeus. In April 2013, it moved to the seafront to elevate the dining experience of its guests with the backdrop of Mikrolimano marina, a traditional fishing port of simple, effortless charm. The second restaurant opened in May 2021 in an elegant 19th century mansion in Kefalari, Kifissia, an exclusive neighbourhood in the northern suburbs of Athens, followed by a third addition located in Kavouri, Vouliagmeni, in the heart of the Athenian Riviera in June 2021.
